Wesley United Church

The Wesley United Church Bible Study Group meets regularly on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm. in the reception area of the church office. 

Our Bible Study grew out of the Prayer Group which was formed by the Faith Development Ministry Team. Each session begins with the opportunity to remember individuals in prayer and then is followed by a lively discussion on the topic for the night. 

Our Bible Study Group numbers anywhere from 8 to 15 members and has covered a wide variety of topics. In the past, we have looked at the Gospels (canonical and non-canonical) we studied some of the writings of Paul and did a detailed study of The Revelation of John. 

We annually complete a study on the birth prophecies and narratives during Advent and, during Lent, we do a study upon the crucifixion and the theology behind it.

Our Bible Study is open to any and all who wish to gather in fellowship, study and prayer. At present, we have members from other United Churches in the city as well as members of other denominations.
